Pipkin Cottage with  cosy wood-burner, sunny terrace and enclosed rear garden is as popular with the local bird life as it is with families, couples  and walkers. The cosy living room has a wood burner that’s set to make any autumn or winter night cosy and the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals or romantic dinners. We can personally recommend the front right of the fireplace to warm a nice bottle of red!

We absolutely loved our stay at Old Bridwell and have never felt so well looked after. Steve and his team are incredibly gifted in hospitality and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and at home despite the ongoing Covid pandemic. Old Bridwell is beautiful and very well located, close to Exmoor National Park and the Jurassic coast. We look forward to returning and would recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter booked a cottage at Old Bridwell on my behalf as she was due to be married on the 28th May 2020, unfortunately due to Covid-19 like many others we had to cancel. Since then we have received endless promises by Steve the General Manager that the deposits would be refunded in full only to find nothing happens. He comes over as a really nice guy just wanting to help but in reality dealing with him is like something you see on Watch Dog. I definitely would NOT RECOMMEND.

Charming cottage (we stayed in Pipkin), amazingly equipped and set up. Prosecco in the fridge when we arrived. Great location and we were looked after brilliantly by Steve. Loads of lovely small touches; our children loved the teepee, and the goal in the paddock saw lots of action!

We had booked to stay at Old Bridwell for our wedding in May 2020, unfortunately due to Covid-19 everything had to be cancelled. The manager Steve promised a full refund on all 4 of the cottages we had booked, however 3 months later after endless false promises and excuses from him, we still have not received any refund. I would certainly not recommend Old Bridwell.

It was lovely and the pop up coffee shop was most enjoyable, also we had a lovely walk around the grounds
